These are approximately 7" tall and are made by dipping thin strips of newspaper in glue and painstaking wrapping thin wire. I use 4 to 5 layers to get the thickness I want. Once dry they are painted white and then I hand paint the stripes. Lastly there is a dusting of glass glitter to make them glisten!
